Meet Ken, our company’s founder, and fearless leader. With 45 years of expertise in the C-stores and food service equipment industry, he is our go-to expert. As our president, Ken leads with a customer-first sales approach and excels in forging strong relationships.
Food Store Solutions’ founder Ken Kyte has over 35 years of experience in food store design, planning, and project management. As an industry leader in convenience store design and food service programming, Ken is renowned for his expertise in trend-setting store layouts, interior designs, and equipment. He has collaborated with large-scale chain stores but focuses on our special partnerships with independent owners to create unique and innovative store interiors that support our owners’ success and profitability. Ken’s extensive knowledge, visionary approach, and exceptional customer relations make him the “go-to” designer for cutting-edge retail environments.
ABOUT LAURELLE
Meet Laurelle, our company’s VP of Design & Food Programming. She is our Food Service Concepts Specialist for fresh food programs, bringing over 22 years of experience in the Food & Beverage Industry.
Laurelle received her Culinary Arts degree from San Francisco’s Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Hospitality and Restaurant Management. She has led high-end restaurants and luxury hotel food service programs. As a Corporate Food and Beverage Director for large independent hotel management companies across the US, she has designed engaging and profitable food and beverage concepts and programs. She is also a specialist in food service equipment, including back kitchen equipment with efficient layouts and front-of-the-house restaurant layouts. Additionally, she specializes in retail food store design and food service equipment. Her expertise includes hospitality food & beverage concept development, menu development, and kitchen and bar design.
ABOUT DANIEL
Meet Daniel, our company’s Director of Projects. He is our C-store project management expert with over 8 years of experience in C-stores and 10 years of experience as a Chef and Director in hospitality.
Daniel Knopf hails from the Grand Old State of Tennessee, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. With over 8 years of experience in project management for C-store projects, he excels in GC communication, timeline management, installer network management, Freight, and is an equipment expert. Daniel has successfully managed C-Stores and overseen food programs . Today, he brings his expertise to FSS as the Food Store Solutions Director of Projects.
